Oh BOY! It’s a Boy!!! Who knew?

So it’s public knowledge if you’ve been around the Cary’s that we spawn boys…  It’s in our nature, and that’s what Kayla and I found to be true once again this morning.  Jace is confused… I’m sure in 4 months he will be far more confused than he is right now.  He’s asking himself questions like, “why are they making me sleep in this gigantic bed without bars?” “why don’t they let me have that sucky thing I referred to as, BUH, unless I’m going to sleep in that gigantic bed?” “what the H E double Hockey Sticks is going on here?, arrrrrggggggghhhhh” “what are they going to do next, make me go to the bathroom in that big white round thing I love throwing things in?”

Oh, you’re going to be a big brother.  How do you tell an 18 month old that news?  It’s proven to be quite the task.  Anyway, we love our boy and we’ll love our shiny new boy the same…  Kayla is waayyyyyyy out numbered now, mmuuuuwwwwaahhaahhaa!  Pinky to the mouth :-)

Oh dear, well had my fingers crossed for a girl – but ya know, we kinda expected it! Kayla, it is a good thing you like football! Can’t wait to see the new monkey when he comes! And Jace…your gonna be an awesome big brother and just think, soon you will have someone to blame when you throw things in the big white bowl!

Congrats Kayla and Justin and Jace, you are blessed. Boys are perfect, ask any Mom…. No prom dresses, no make-up, no periods and all that goes with that, none of the drama, aaaaahhhh boys. Sticky socks, gross manners, no help with the chores, but funny friends, they think their Mom’s are beautiful. easy to dress, feels like surprises? do their laundry and find weird and unusual things in their pockets. I am really happy for you that another wonderful healthy baby is on its way. We were due for another one.

Congrats on the big news! It seems you are in the opposite position than me… I have my wife, a daughter, one female cat, and two female dogs… so I am the one that is out numbered around my household. You are an inspiration. :D

Congratulations Daddy & Mommy!!!! Jace will love having a brother to play with, when they both get old enough to. I know, from experience, that having two boys so far apart in age, (6 1/2 years), makes the very difficult. I am certain he will be a beautiful & sweet little guy just like Jace.
    Thank you for sharing!!!
    Stephanie
ps – boys are wayyyyyy easier than girls (again, speaking from experience)
