17″ Mac Book Pro Battery :-(

March 4th, 2009

The other day, after a long day of work and shooting I sat down on the couch to work some more.  I went to check the pony’s (power) on the battery and noticed it was bulging like crazy and not sitting flush with bottom of the computer.  After evaluating the situation I found that this happens frequently with these computers… Bad Apple!  Oh well, for all the things you do right I’ll let this slide.  Here’s a photo… crazyness.

New Running Kicks

March 3rd, 2009

Recently, over the past couple of months, I’ve become a little obsessive about running, daily.  It’s a good thing to be healthy, so I hear :-)  I’ve kicked all of my bad habits except for Diet Mountain Dew, NEVER!!!!  This sounds so cliche but I want to be fit and active for my kids.  As my kids get faster, so will I, mwahahahahaha.  So I went looking for new running shoes and I couldn’t find anything on the shelf that I really liked.  I was looking for something a little over the top and ridiculous so that I wear them for running.  When I buy a new pair of shoes I wear them until the sole falls off and when I wear them everyday it falls off quickly!  So, I went to Nike.com and built my own kicks!  Here they are, turned out pretty dang sweet!

The Wife, The Momma, The Model

February 10th, 2009

My wife, Kayla, is the sweetest woman on the planet, aside from my mother… of course!!!!!  Noone is as perfect as your mother.  So, I have an upcoming shoot for a local magazine and I’m doing some indoor lighting tests.  I know nothing about the location.  The only thing I know is the subjects name and that we’ll be shooting after dark.  Anyway, nothing special but she sure is the most beautiful woman I know!

Lunch time photo session…

February 9th, 2009

Just thought I’d share these images. He’s getting so old, dang!  Next thing you know we’ll be sending him off to college!

Oh BOY! It’s a Boy!!! Who knew?

January 28th, 2009

So it’s public knowledge if you’ve been around the Cary’s that we spawn boys…  It’s in our nature, and that’s what Kayla and I found to be true once again this morning.  Jace is confused… I’m sure in 4 months he will be far more confused than he is right now.  He’s asking himself questions like, “why are they making me sleep in this gigantic bed without bars?” “why don’t they let me have that sucky thing I referred to as, BUH, unless I’m going to sleep in that gigantic bed?” “what the H E double Hockey Sticks is going on here?, arrrrrggggggghhhhh” “what are they going to do next, make me go to the bathroom in that big white round thing I love throwing things in?”

Oh, you’re going to be a big brother.  How do you tell an 18 month old that news?  It’s proven to be quite the task.  Anyway, we love our boy and we’ll love our shiny new boy the same…  Kayla is waayyyyyyy out numbered now, mmuuuuwwwwaahhaahhaa!  Pinky to the mouth :-)

Updated M2 Rig

January 9th, 2009

Yesterday I received the MicroX adapter for my M2 rig… WOW!!! OK, the Micro X flips the image upright in the camera.  Before this addition to the M2 my images were upside down which really brings all sorts of challenges to the table.  The MicroX not only flips the image it actually produces a much sharper image.  Here’s a couple updated images and a short clip as well.

To Cook or Not to Cook… that is the question

January 1st, 2009

So for the last several years I’ve been cooking with some pretty crappy cookware.  Not that it didn’t do the job but I looooooove to cook and my wife has become quite the little cook herself :-) (Thank you Jesus!)  “I still don’t like doing it.”  Had to throw that in, she’s sitting right next to me.  Anyway, this Christmas Kayla’s parents, I mean Santa, brought me a whole new set that is amazing!!!  Aww, it sure is nice to have good cookware, everything tastes better.  Really.  I’m serious.

Who doesn’t love 15 degree weather with 30 mph wind?

December 15th, 2008

So, we only lasted to the end of the 3rd quarter… anything after that sucked anyway, so we heard from the parking lot.  Gotta love the Chiefs.  They play killer all game and let the Chargers get back in it under 2 minutes!  Oh well, we had a blast.  We couldn’t feel out limbs but that’s no big deal… right?

La... freezing, but stickin it out for me!

All you non believers out there can officially shut your mouth!  So what if he drives a Nissan every other day of the year, I’m sure his sleigh will be up and flying on the 25th!
