Super Simple Salsa
April 4th, 2009I’ve made salsa for quite some time now and I have a lot of my friends asking for the recipe. Really there’s nothing to it.
Start with 2 large tomatoes. Cut them up and throw them in the food processor, or blender if you don’t have a processor.
Grab your onion, cut about a 1/2 inch sliver off and dice it up, throw it in the processor.
Now for the important part that I learned just over the last couple years. Mezzetta Deli Sliced jalapenos! If you want Hot salsa buy the “Hot” if you want Mild by the “Tamed” I put a 1/4 cup of the jalapeno juice in the food processor and then put about 15-20 slices of jalapenos in as well.
Salt and Pepper to taste and walla!!! Tastes really good after about 1 hour of refrigeration, but mine never lasts that long. Keeps well for about 1 1/2 weeks.
